I inherited a 7301 5 years ago from a high-use shop, replaced the cracked base and not a problem since. It's light and easy to handle. I use it more than I do my 1 3/4hp plunge router. The only issue I have is the height adjustment lock screw. I would like to see something more like a wing nut than a knurled knob, the previous owner was using a pliers to tighten it...
